Electrically Operated

SOLENOID OPERATED AIR INTAKE SHUT DOWN VALVES REQUIRING A CONTINUOUS ELECTRICAL SUPPLY TO HOLD OPEN

A range of 12 and 24 volt EExe solenoid operated and dc solenoid operated diesel engine air intake closure valves. Available in basic flange mounted form, but can also be supplied fitted with hose adaptors. These valves are designed to "fail safe" in that if electrical power is lost for any reason, the valve will always revert to the closed condition.

SVX SERIES: ENERGIZED TO OPEN - HAZARDOUS AREA


Slim, light weight, 3", 5" and 8" bore 12 volt and 24 volt solenoid operated butterfly valves. EExe and standard variants available. These valves are designed to be mounted between flanges or can be supplied fitted with hose adaptors selected from a range of 28 size options.

• ATEX approved for zone 1, IIB, T4 applications
• Externally switched solenoid
• Automatic closure on loss of power
• Combination of body sizes and hose adaptors to suit air intake diameters from 38mm (1-1/2 inches) to 203mm (8 inches)

• Optional hose adaptors are available for all SVX series valves
