MANUALLY OPERATED AIR INTAKE SHUT DOWN VALVES

A range of mechanically actuated diesel engine air intake closure valves suitable for both hazardous and non-hazardous area applications where either valve mounted manual trip and reset controls, or a cable operated stop control combined with a valve mounted reset lever is required. Available in basic flange mounted form or fitted with hose adaptors or an integral flame trap housing.

BASIC MVX SERIES: MANUAL OPERATION FOR SHUT DOWN

Slim, light weight, 3", 5" and 8" bore butterfly valves complete with reset lever to latch in the open position and a valve-mounted stop button. This valve may be mounted between flanges or can be supplied fitted with hose adaptors selected from a range of 28 size options.

• Suitable for US MMS attended installations
• Simple operation - instant engine shut down
• Push or pull shut down
• Suitable for Canadian remote positive air shut off regulations
• Slim, lightweight construction
• Metal to metal seat seals - avoids wear associated with 'O' ring seals
• Flange or hose mounted
• Corrosion resistant, proven in offshore service
• Combination of body sizes and hose adaptors to suit air intake diameters from 38mm (1-1/2 inches) to 203mm (8 inches)

MVX SERIES: MANUAL OPERATION WITH REMOTE STOP CONTROL

Slim, light weight, 3", 5" and 8" bore butterfly valves complete with reset lever to latch in the open position and a remote stop button with a cable connection to the valve. The valve may be mounted between flanges or can be supplied fitted with hose adaptors selected from a range of 28 size options.

• Suitable for US MMS attended installations
• Simple operation - instant engine shut down
• Remote stop control by either push or pull options
• Suitable for Canadian remote positive air shut off regulations
• Slim, lightweight construction
