CHALWYN
A range of air intake shut down valves with air pressure actuated shut down combined with manual reset and the optional addition of manual shut down. MPX valves are suitable for both hazardous and non-hazardous area applications and available in basic flange mounted form or fitted with hose adaptors.
Slim, light weight, 3", 5" and 8" bore butterfly valves complete with reset lever (to latch in the open position) and an input port for the air pressure shut down signal. Optionally a manual shut down button, either mounted on the valve or operating via a cable is available. These valves may be mounted between flanges or can be supplied fitted with hose adaptors selected from a range of 28 size options.
• Simple manual latch to open - air pressure releases valve to close
• Manual shut down via valve mounted stop button or via cable from remote shut down control
• Suitable for drilling rig ESD air system / US MMS offshore installations
• Push or pull remote shut down options with choice of cable lengths
• Build option available without manual shut down
• Combination of body sizes and hose adaptors to suit air intake diameters from 38mm (1-1/2 inches) to 203mm (8 inches)
