EMx™ Catalysts for NOx, CO, VOC and PM Reduction

EMx™ is the most advanced multi-pollutant emission control technology available today. EMx™ is a single catalytic system that reduces emissions of NOx, SOx, CO, VOC's and Particulate Matter (PM) to levels approaching zero throughout all operating cycles of your power generation application. The U.S. EPA declared this technology "the Lowest Achievable Emission Rate" (LAER) for NOx abatement, establishing the standard against which all future emission reduction means will be measured. EMx™ is the most effective Ammonia Free Reduction (AFR) technology available for gas turbine (GT), reciprocating internal combustion engine (IC), and industrial/utility boiler (IB) applications.

EMx™ systems consistently and reliably deliver:

• NOx reduction levels greater than 95% for gas turbines and over 98% for internal combustion engines.
• SOx reduction efficiencies of 97% or better.
• CO and VOC reductions to 0.5 ppm or less.
• Particulate matter reduction of 30% to 70%.
• Significant NOx reduction during cold starts.
• Catalyst life expectancy of seven years or longer.

Where desired, EMx™ systems ensure maximum reduction of all criteria pollutants without the use of ammonia or urea:

• Highly efficient removal of NOx, SOx, CO, VOC, and particulate matter throughout the entire duty cycle of gas turbine, internal combustion, and industrial boiler applications, including cold starts (at 25%, 50% and 100% load).
• Robust system that consistently exceeds performance and reliability requirements, regardless of application.
• Provides a true net reduction of emissions, resulting in potential cost savings for an EMx™ technology user.

EMx™ systems from EmeraChem Power™ are your proven solution for emission reduction, combining highly efficient performance with the flexibility and reliability you need to meet regulatory standards, both today and in the future.
