Febuary 17, 2012 - With a twist of efficiency, MurCal now combines Murphy's EMS Pro single-engine controller for engine driven pumping equipment applications with the LumberJack wireless remote control and data logger.
September 19, 2011 - MurCal is now an authorized EmeraChem "Catalyst Service Center", trained in catalyst technologies and applications and having full catalyst management capabilities, including a factory designed catalyst washing facility.
June 27, 2011 - Nearly two weeks after touring the Denso plant and meeting their Heavy Duty Group management team a distribution deal was made official and Denso Spark Plugs became part of MurCal's product line.
June 10, 2011 - MurCal hosted two informational seminars featuring industry experts discussing how specific emission compliance products work together to meet emission standards on stationary rich-burn natural gas engines.
January 26, 2011 - TDI's TurboTwin™ family of turbine air starters are changing the way people think about starting their engines, especially in hazardous oil and gas applications.
November 15, 2010 - Bob Murphy recently ironed out a deal to bring EmeraChem's high quality, affordable catalytic products to our West Coast customers. Plans include a local, full-service catalyst element cleaning facility.
February 9, 2010 - MurCal introduced the new LumberJack Network Data Logger at the 2010 World Ag Expo in Tulare, CA.
December 14, 2009 - MurCal was recently selected by Testo to help with distribution of their engine emission analyzers and related products.
June 8, 2009 - DynaGen Technologies Inc., manufacturers of "Vigilant Series" Automatic Transfer Switches, joins the MurCal family.
May 20, 2009 - Bob Murphy traveled to Houston to meet the domestic management team at AMOT, whose recent acquisitions of Roda Deaco and Chalwyn presented new distribution opportunities for MurCal.
May 15, 2009 - MurCal representatives recently traveled to Pixley to finalize source testing on the new "Emissionator" emission control system. The second ag engine installation was tested on April 17, 2009, completing MurCal's conditional certification of the emission control system.
April 10, 2009 - Bob Murphy, President of MurCal, met with John Hewitt from Hewitt Industries of Los Angeles to forge a distribution agreement for several unique Hewitt Industries products that complement our line.
January 28, 2009 - MurCal recently introduced the new "Emissionator" emission control system. Our first ag engine installation passed a source test on January 14, 2009, which granted MurCal conditional certification on the system.
December 1, 2008 - MurCal received certification from the SCAQMD to provide a required new service to engine owners and operators: periodic measurement of NOx and CO engine emissions using a portable electrochemical analyzer.
