The Isolator is strongly recommended when you install fuel pressure and oil pressure gauges. The Isolator mounts in the engine compartment and keeps oil and fuel from entering the drivers compartment via tubing to the oil pressure and fuel pressure gauges. Oil and fuel pressure is transferred from the Isolator to the gauge using a combination of antifreeze and water. The Isolator measures approximately 5-1/2" in length and 1" in diameter with the fittings as shown in the image.
