The Battery Discharge Protection System with auto reset protects your batteries from deep discharging caused by overuse of accessories or from parasitic drain when the engine is stopped.




The complete Battery Discharge Protection System consists of three components and a connecting harness.




The three components are as follows:


The Battery Discharge Protection Module, also known as the Electronic Control Module (ECM) is processor controlled and temperature stable, protected for over-voltage, reverse polarity and load dump, plus RF filtering.


Then we add the Low Battery Light Indicator, which is a bright LED for low battery indication.


Finally, the Oil Pressure Switch is included to assure that circuit switch-off with engine running cannot occur.




The module can operate with internal or externally grounded relays.
