The Sentinel 300P, 12/24VDC, 10A Enclosed, LCD & Analog Voltmeter/Ammeter Battery Charger provides new levels of DC power control, monitoring and protection for stationary engine starting and standby battery applications. This microprocessor controlled charger features switch mode charging technology, high power efficiency and low heat dissipation, plus wide supply voltage tolerance. This model features a backlit LCD readout with control/program buttons and CAN 2.0B / SAE J1939 data communication, configuration and control. On the front panel of the enclosure beneath the LCD screen an analog voltmeter and an analog ammeter are positioned, side-by-side.
Standard features include Multistage Charging, including AutoBoost, which ensures no compromise between rapid charge recovery and long-term battery capacity and life; Low Output Ripple, which is beneficial for vented lead acid and NiCd cells, essential for VRLA, and configurable as a stand-alone DC power supply; Temperature Compensation, whereby the Sentinel measures temperature with a battery mounted sensor, and adjusts output voltage to prevent under or over charging.
This UL-listed, stainless-steel, wall-mounted enclosure connects using a wire harness, accessed by knock-out cable gland holes in the case side. Battery type is selected by circuit board DIP switches or SNTL-PCSuite configuration software. Nominal voltage is 12 or 24 volt, programmable. Float/boost voltage is also programmable. The unit measures 6.5" (165 mm) wide, 11.81" (300 mm) high, and 4.92" (125 mm) deep. Weight: 4.4 - 4.6 lbs (2.0 - 2.1 kg).

12 Volt: Wet (vented) lead acid (6 cells), Calcium-Calcium (6 cells), Lead acid Antimony (6 cells), VRLA / AGM (6 cells), VRLA / Gel (6 cells), NiCd (10 cells).
24 Volt: Wet (vented) lead acid (12 cells), Calcium-Calcium (12 cells), Lead acid Antimony (12 cells), VRLA / AGM (12 cells), VRLA / Gel (12 cells), NiCd (18 cells), NiCd (20 cells).
