Q. How long have you been at MurCal? A. I have been at MurCal for 25 years. I started at our old building in 1999. Q. What is your position/role at MurCal? A. I started in the test department-we made auto start controllers typically for generators. Many people were afraid of the Y2K scare! When we moved to our current building I transitioned into sales and customer service for around 20 years. At the moment I build engine harnesses for a big crane with a pump or a drill attached to the boom. I also help out in shipping and receiving when needed.

In the past several years, many municipalities are converting their pump stations from Internal Combustion Engines to Electric Motor Applications because they are considered more environmentally friendly, easier to maintain, and simplify the need to meet tightening emission standards. Our S800 Control Panels are ready for this switch to Electric Motors Applications.
