The Engine Idle Limiter System is designed to shutdown the engine and any connected accessories five (5) minutes after the vehicle is stopped and the vehicle or trailer brakes have been applied. Flexibility of design minimizes unnecessary engine idling. The complete Engine Idle Limiter Shutdown System consists of two components and a connecting harness.
The two components are: The Engine Idle Limiter Module, also known as the Electronic Control Module (ECM) is processor controlled and temperature stable, and a Brake Pressure Switch, Normally Closed.
The Engine Idle Limiter is popular with automotive, trucking and bussing markets because it works on both gas and diesel engines, stops fuel waste, and extends the life of your engine by reducing rpm count by millions per year. The unit is simple to operate, easy to install. Also available in 24 volt.
