More often than not, the leadwire length on a thermocouple is not adequate to make a connection. Hewitt offers these fourteen (14) feet long, "k-type" extension leadwire to increase the connection distance between a thermocouple and your Hewitt 2" LED pyrometer 035-013-14 REPLACES(010-210).
This model has four wires: the red wire (-) and the yellow wire (+) are a full 14 feet in length with round terminal lugs at the thermocouple end. The black wire and the white wire (ground only) measure 12" in length and power the LED light in the pyrometer.
At the other end, all four wires come together in a 4-pin male connector which snaps easily into the female connector on the back of the pyrometer.
