FuelActive’s FA06H400 Fuel Pick-Up Unit measures 400mm (15.75”) in height.

Today’s diesel engines are much less tolerant of fuel contaminants than older engines. Any contamination by water, sediment or other substance has a chance of causing permanent damage to the engine or fuel system if it gets into the engine. Diesel tanks are vented and therefore draw in the outside atmosphere which will contaminate the fuel. Additionally, condensation, dirty fuel and bad housekeeping certifies fuel contamination as an unavoidable issue.

By supplying the fuel lines with the highest quality fuel available, FuelActive protects the fuel system and significantly reduces problems associated with contaminated fuel. Most contamination is water borne and is approximately 15% heavier than diesel, sinking to the bottom of the fuel tank as a result. By drawing fuel from the upper level of fuel, the FuelActive unit avoids the settled contamination at the bottom of the tank.

The revolutionary fuel pick-up unit utilizes a floating pick-up pipe to draw fuel from the cleaner upper level of fuel, leaving water and sediment behind untouched. The unit delivers the cleanest fuel from the tank to the injectors to eradicate fuel contamination.
