The Murphy Surface Mount 0-5 Ft Level Swichgage 4-1/2 in. with Square Case OPLHACS-05 is a combination level indicating gage with adjustable low and high limit switch. Limit switch can be wired directly to electric pilot circuits to operate alarms, shutdown or start/stop pumps to maintain predetermined levels.
This OPLHACS-05 features a panel mount enclosure and 4-1/2 in. (114 mm) dial for easy viewing, it also includes 2-adjustable, pilot duty, pointer type contacts. Contacts have self-cleaning motion to enhance electrical continuity. Adjustable limit switch is accessible from front of the Swichgage instrument.
The OPLHACS-05 operates from static head pressure. Pressure is transmitted to the process connection of the Swichgage instrument. From here the pressure operates the 316 stainless steel bellows. The bellows operates the stainless steel rotary geared movement which in turn operates the indicating pointer on the face of the dial. When the pointer closes with the limit contact, a control circuit is completed and signals an alarm and/or shutdown or starts/stops a pump.
