Q. How long have you been at MurCal?

A. I have been with MurCal for about a year and half..

Q. What is your position/role at MurCal?

A. My current position at MurCal is Customer Representative/Technical Support.  

Q. What do you love most about your job and why?

A. The part I love most about my job is learning about all the different engines and components that our customers use in the field. 

Q. How would you describe your job to a bunch of kindergarteners?

A. We sell parts and equipment to farmers.  

Q. Tell us a little about yourself:

A. My name is Rene Castellon. My family lineage comes from Nicaragua, I enjoy spending time with friends and family.

Q. Three words which best describe you:

A. The three words to best describe me would be Ambitious, Versatile, and informative.

Q. Your most memorable/rewarding MurCal experience?

A. So far the most rewarding experience at MurCal was when I was able to help a customer get his engine running properly on my own.

Q. Fun fact about you?

A. A fun fact about me would be that I went to culinary school for one week. 

Q. What place in the world would you like to visit?

A. I would like to go visit Japan to experience the food as well as the culture.  

Q. What is the coolest place you have ever visited?

A. The coolest place I have visited was in Nicaragua at my great Uncle's ranch when he brought us to the top of a mountain overlooking the rainforest.

Q. What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

A. The best advice I have ever received was to never be afraid to fail and to embrace the reasons for the failed attempt.

Q. Do you have any hidden talents?

A. My hidden talents would be being a decent soccer player and a talented soccer coach.

Q. Do you have any hobbies?

A. My current hobbies are working on cars and cooking. 

Q. Do you have any pets?

A. Yes, I have two chihuahuas named Taquito and Lala.

Q. Favorite Movies?

A. My favorite movies would be “Chef”, “The Fast and the Furious” and “Step Brothers”.

Q. Favorite TV shows?

A. My favorite TV shows are “You”, “One Piece” and “Station 19”.

Q. Favorite Food?

A. I enjoy Nicaraguense food as well as Mexican food. 

Q. Who Inspires You?

A. My biggest inspirations have been my father and my grandfather. 

Q. Which celebrity would you like to meet?

A.  I would like to meet Matty Matheson, a celebrity chef from Canada.
