Q. How long have you been at MurCal? A. I have been at MurCal for 7 years. Q. What is your position/role at MurCal? A. I am the Head of Operations. Q. What do you love most about your job and why? A. What I love about my job is that there’s something new everyday, never a dull moment..

Q. How long have you been at MurCal? A. I have been at MurCal for 25 years. I started at our old building in 1999. Q. What is your position/role at MurCal? A. I started in the test department-we made auto start controllers typically for generators. Many people were afraid of the Y2K scare! When we moved to our current building I transitioned into sales and customer service for around 20 years. At the moment I build engine harnesses for a big crane with a pump or a drill attached to the boom. I also help out in shipping and receiving when needed.

Q. How long have you been at MurCal? A. I’ve been here since July 2022, so nearly 2 years. Q. What is your position/role at MurCal? A. I am currently an Assembler/ Production line worker. Q. What do you love most about your job and why? A. What I love about my job most is — it gives me the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the world every single day, empowering me to fulfill my passion and contribute to a positive change in my industry.

Q. How long have you been at MurCal? A. I have been working at MurCal for 3 months as of right now, but I worked here in 2020 for about a year and a half. Q. What is your position/role at MurCal? A. I am currently working in Shipping/ Receiving. Q. What do you love most about your job and why? A. I love how helpful everyone is because I have coworkers come back here to help me with a lot of things.

We recently exhibited at the World AG Expo and discovered a commonality with our neighboring booth – a shared dedication to IOT connected products and serving farmers! Although it may not seem an obvious connection at first glance, we quickly recognized our mutual interest.

Q. How long have you been at MurCal? A. I have been working at MurCal for 7 months as of right now. Q. What is your position/role at MurCal? A. I am currently working in customer service / tech support. However, I started off in the shipping department when I first arrived.

We have a great team of folks that makes the job fun and our customers are fun to work with. It is rewarding to watch our team grow as we also solve our customer's problems.

Q. How long have you been at MurCal? A. I have been at Murcal for just about 6 months. Q. What is your position/role at MurCal? A. I am a Software Engineer Intern but I do have a more application engineer role right now. Q. What do you love most about your job and why? A. I love being able to work in cooperation with other engineers and doing a bit of everything, such as coding work or wiring harness.

Q. How long have you been at MurCal? A. Technically, I've been with MurCal for 39 and a half years. However, I spent many more years as a kid running around the halls and making devices to play with from nuts, bolts, resistors, diodes, and capacitors. We'd pretend they were walkie-talkies and radios...

Q. How long have you been at MurCal? A. Three Months. Q. What is your position/role at MurCal? A. I work in Production/Assembly.. Q. What do you love most about your job and why? A. One thing that I love about my job is finding solutions to error in harnesses..

Q. How long have you been at MurCal? A. About 8 months. Q. What is your position/role at MurCal? A. I'm a Cable Harness and Wire Assembler. Q. What do you love most about your job and why? A. Working with the blueprints and seeing how it all comes together has been very educational for me. I’ve always worked in the electrical manufacturing industry but never with blueprints and I really like it.

MurCal always welcomes talented college students to work alongside our team members on various engineering projects in a collaborative environment. This provides them with hands on “real world” experience. Our interns play a crucial role on their teams and are involved in important projects that create real impact. Our hope is that they’ll sharpen their technical skills, gain valuable experience, develop personally and professionally, and ultimately bring fresh perspectives to their future careers. The internship program has been so successful in the past that we’ve been lucky enough to hire several of them as full-time engineers, and each and every one of them have proven to be solid contributors to the product and team.

Q. How long have you been at MurCal? A. I began working after the company was established by my Father – Art C Murphy – in 1958. This wasn’t a formal job (I was 13 years old). My father had me checking the operation of some simple controllers we were building for the Oil and Ag business. He said he wanted to see if they were, “idiot proof.” Was that a compliment?

Q. How long have you been at MurCal? A. Almost three months now 🤞🏼. Q. What is your position/role at MurCal? A. I’m a Software Engineer at MurCal. . Q. What do you love most about your job and why? A. I love that I can work on projects from beginning to end. Plus the company culture and warm welcome have been great as well.

Q. How long have you been at MurCal? A. A year and 5 months. Q. What is your position/role at MurCal? A. I have 3 main roles. I am the Social Media Manager, I take care of most of the marketing and article/blog/newsletter writing and I also do most of the eCommerce for our online sales.
