The MicroGenius LE series by Stored Energy Systems (SENS) represents a leap forward in compact, efficient, and durable battery charging technology. Designed specifically for small gensets and low-power marine applications, this series combines advanced features previously found only in higher-end chargers with a lightweight and rugged design. Among the models in the series, the LE-1210-A0-SS stands out as an exemplary solution for 12VDC systems requiring 10 amps of charging power.


At the heart of the MicroGenius LE series is a patented microprocessor control system that ensures fast, safe, and efficient battery charging. This technology incorporates SENS’ innovative Dynamic Boost™ and HELIX™ charging methods. 

Dynamic Boost™ accelerates charging while protecting batteries from overcharging, while HELIX™ extends battery life by emulating optimal vehicle-style charging cycles. These features not only enhance performance but also help prevent catastrophic failures often caused by traditional float charging methods.

The LE-1210-A0-SS model epitomizes the strengths of the MicroGenius LE series. Weighing just two pounds, it is remarkably compact and can be installed almost anywhere. Its robust design includes a high-strength thermoplastic cover permanently bonded to a finned aluminum heatsink, making it waterproof, dustproof, and highly resistant to impact. This rugged construction ensures reliable operation even in harsh environments such as marine settings or generator compartments.


One of the key advantages of the LE-1210-A0-SS is its high efficiency. Unlike many competing chargers that struggle in elevated temperatures, this model maintains full output thanks to its superior cooling system. The finned heatsink effectively dissipates heat, allowing the charger to perform consistently even at higher ambient temperatures. Additionally, its compliance with California Energy Commission (CEC) efficiency standards underscores its energy-saving credentials.



The MicroGenius LE series is designed for versatility and ease of use. It supports both flooded and AGM lead-acid batteries without requiring manual adjustments, thanks to its self-adjusting output capabilities. This adaptability makes it compatible with a wide range of battery types and specific gravities. Furthermore, its intuitive LED indicators provide clear status updates for both the battery and charger, ensuring users can monitor system health at a glance.


Installation is straightforward with pre-installed 6-foot AC and DC cables featuring a NEMA 5-15P plug and 3/8-inch ring lugs, respectively. The charger also meets rigorous regulatory standards, including CULUS safety certifications for the U.S. and Canada, NFPA 70 compliance, and IP67 protection against water and dust ingress.



While the LE-1210-A0-SS is a standout model offering 12V/10A output, the MicroGenius LE series also includes other configurations to cater to diverse needs. These include 12V/6A and 24V/5A models, all built with the same commitment to durability, efficiency, and advanced charging technology.
