Vanguard™ Battery Systems is set to redefine power solutions for OEM applications with the upcoming release of the MC2000 and MC4000 Motor Controllers. These advanced controllers are designed to seamlessly integrate with Vanguard™ Batteries and Motors, offering a complete, efficient, and reliable system for electrifying equipment.

MC2000 Motor Controller: Power Meets Precision

The MC2000 Motor Controller is engineered to handle heavy-duty applications with ease. Built to automotive-grade standards, it offers exceptional durability and performance. With features like high power density, auto-tuning, and configurable regenerative braking, this controller simplifies system optimization while ensuring long-term reliability.

The controller features J1939 Communication that simplifies integration with Vanguard™ battery packs. Its automotive-grade design ensures outstanding resilience and reliability. The auto-tuning capability reduces the effort required to optimize your system. Comprehensive fault protection guards against over/under voltage, over temperature, and over current to maximize equipment uptime. Multiple control modes enable precise management of speed, torque, or a combination.

Key specifications include a nominal input voltage of 48 VDC (ranging from 30-72 VDC), a peak phase current of 200 A, and efficiency of 95% or greater. The enclosure rating of IPx5 provides weather resistance, while the operating temperature range spans from -20 to 50℃ (-4 to 122℉).

Ideal OEM applications include large sprayers, blowers, and plate compactors. The MC2000 is a robust solution for rugged environments, delivering precision and power for industrial-grade equipment.

MC4000 Motor Controller: High Power for Demanding Applications

The MC4000 Motor Controller is tailored for mid-level high-power applications. Optimized for the latest Lithium-Ion battery technology, it combines advanced features like auto-tuning and configurable regenerative braking with an automotive-grade design. This controller is built to deliver exceptional performance while requiring no maintenance.

Similar to the MC2000, the MC4000 offers J1939 Communication for seamless integration with Vanguard™ battery packs. Its automotive-grade design provides unmatched durability in harsh conditions. The auto-tuning feature streamlines system optimization for OEMs, while comprehensive fault protection keeps equipment running efficiently by preventing critical failures.

With a nominal input voltage of 48 VDC (ranging from 30-72 VDC), the MC4000 boasts a higher peak phase current of 430 A. It maintains the same impressive 95% or greater efficiency and IPx5 enclosure rating. The operating temperature range remains consistent at -20 to 50℃ (-4 to 122℉).

The MC4000 excels in OEM applications such as walk-behind concrete trowels, aerators, dethatchers, small floor grinders, and power rakes. Its higher power capacity and advanced features make it ideal for demanding commercial-grade equipment.

Why Choose Vanguard™ Motor Controllers?

Both the MC2000 and MC4000 are designed with OEMs in mind, offering unparalleled integration, durability, and performance. The J1939 communication ensures compatibility with Vanguard™ Batteries and Motors, while the automotive-grade construction guarantees reliable operation in harsh environments.

Energy efficiency remains a core strength, with peak performance of 95% or greater. Advanced features like auto-tuning, configurable regenerative braking, and multiple control modes provide unprecedented flexibility. Comprehensive fault protection prevents downtime by safeguarding against various electrical and thermal challenges.

Applications Across Industries

These motor controllers are perfectly suited for OEMs in construction, landscaping, agriculture, and industrial equipment manufacturing. They enable safer electrification solutions while enhancing efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

Stay tuned as Vanguard™ prepares to launch these innovative motor controllers that will empower OEMs to bring cutting-edge equipment to market!
