The all-new OpenView™ family have an unprecedented value proposition posed to expand full color rugged displays to new markets, bringing significant benefits to our customers, specifically in the construction, material handling, and stationary equipment markets initially. Together with the hardware, OpenPV™ provides revolutionary solutions for customers seeking to elevate their display programming capabilities.
The OpenView™ product family is specifically designed as an open-source platform, which allows our customers’ developers to design applications using a variety of industry standard languages and tools.
The first two displays offered are a 5-inch, S50 model, and a 7-inch, S70 model. The “S” or ‘Select Series’ is the first in a portfolio of products that will be tailored to meet different end market requirements. The full-color edge-to-edge touchscreen displays are built on the Next Display Platform™, a scalable solution recently introduced to the market. With a glove-friendly, high-brightness LCD panel inside an IP65-rated case, the S50 and S70 deliver in full sunlight and in all weather conditions.
OpenView™ utilizes the OpenPV™ Software Platform, which is designed from the ground up to be a modular system. The OpenPV™ Software Platform contains rich modules and enables diverse development options with endless extensibility. This empowers developers to use the OpenPV™ Software Platform as their foundation and, when needed, integrate custom software to meet the requirements of their specific application.
Core hardware features, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi wireless communications, as well as CAN, RS-485, and USB-C interfaces, are designed directly into the new platform, providing OEMs the ability to take full control of the equipment. It will also allow for digital and analog inputs, low-side outputs, and a touchscreen designed for wet and dry use.

Like its cousin, the PowerView 500, the OpenView™S50 is a full-color configurable display that integrates vital engine, transmission and diagnostic information into an easy-to-read operator interface. The OpenView™S50 is easily viewed in full sunlight and contains an optically bonded LCD inside its IP65-rated case to keep it safe in most weather environments. The OpenView™S50 comes standard with a glass-front, glove-friendly touchscreen suited to a wide array of applications.
The OpenView™S50 is programmable with your selected toolset through the power of the new OpenPVTM Software Platform. Graphic interface not included, custom programming required.
