This means it can handle extreme environments without losing performance. It works reliably in temperatures as low as -40°C and as high as +85°C during operation, and up to +125°C in storage.
The six-pin AMP connector makes installation straightforward, and the throttle meets strict international safety and performance standards such as FMVSS 124, FMVSS 302, and ECE R10.06. For customers who need specific configurations, the output signals can be programmed at the factory.
Options include analogue, PWM, IVS, current output, CAN J1939, and CANopen.
Additional features such as custom wiring harnesses or CAN communication are also available.
For those who need even more flexibility, Mobile Control Systems offers the Electronic Rotary Control 978 000 series. Like the 972 series, it is highly durable with IP69K sealing and the same wide temperature range. However, it gives customers more options, such as a choice between 90-degree or 160-degree travel, as well as different knob styles, mounting methods, and actuation forces. It meets the same international standards and supports the same programmable outputs, including analogue, PWM, IVS, current, CAN J1939, and CANopen. Customers can even request a detent “click” feeling for extra tactile feedback.
