Q. How long have you been at MurCal?
A. I’ve been here since July 2022, so nearly 2 years.
Q. What is your position/role at MurCal?
A. I am currently an Assembler/ Production line worker.
Q. What do you love most about your job and why?
A. What I love about my job most is — it gives me the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the world every single day, empowering me to fulfill my passion and contribute to a positive change in my industry.
Q. How would you describe your job to a bunch of kindergarteners?
A. Wire harnessing is like putting all the different colored lego pieces together to make a cool Spaceship. Instead of Lego pieces, we use wires and connectors to connect different parts of machines and gadgets so they can work together smoothly, just like the pieces of a Lego Spaceship work together to fly!
Q. Tell us a little about yourself:
A. I am 28-years young. I’m a student currently in college part-time for cybersecurity. I’ve lived in the Antelope Valley for my entire life (sad, i know). I am of Spanish descent, but possibly may have some Native/Asian in me. People assume, so I just roll with it.
I’m the only girl in my little family. I admire the dark and the macabre and all things cute. I’m obsessed with all things pink, which I never was because growing up I was a tomboy.
Q. Three words which best describe you:
A. Demure, weird, and silly.
Q. Your most memorable/rewarding MurCal experience?
A. My first time going to a meeting, i was so confused as to what was going on. I thought I was going to get sacrificed.
Also, one time I saw a pair of bird wings on the fire hydrant completely eaten up by a bird much larger than them. That was some “nature is metal” type stuff.
Q. Fun fact about you?
A. A fun fact about me is I love food, naps, Sanrio, Goth fashion, cars, IOT (Internet of Things) and music. I’m a cat lady without the cats. My favorite President is Theodore Roosevelt. My favorite animal is Pandas (both). I love art in every form. I think rocks are interesting to look at. I’m an introverted extrovert.
Q. What place in the world would you like to visit?
A. Everywhere, really. I would like to visit Asia, meaning: India, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, Magnolia, Thailand, China and even Myanmar. I’m sort of obsessed with Asian culture.
Q. What is the coolest place you have ever visited?
A. The coolest place I have visited was “El Museo De Las Momias” (The Museum of the Mummies") in Guanajuato, Mexico when I was a child in the early 2000s.
Q. What is the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
A. The best advice I have gotten is “Just show up and do the work.”
Q. Do you have a favorite quote?
A. I have a few:
“Don't cry over someone who wouldn't cry over you.” -Lauren Conrad
“Comparison is the thief of joy.” - Theodore Roosevelt
“Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far.” -Theodore Roosevelt
“Know who you are at every age.” - Cocteau Twins
“Friendship is friendship. History is history.” - T.F. Mous
“When people get hurt, they learn to hate… when people hurt others, they become hated and racked with guilt. But knowing that pain allows people to be kind. Pain allows people to grow… and how you grow is up to you.” - Jiraiya
Q. Do you have any hidden talents?
A. I’ve acted a few times for a friend’s youtube channel. I have a couple of monologues on my youtube channel. I made a mini documentary about “Una Lake” on Youtube. I’ve also made a few songs using AI music studio. I can paint, draw, sketch (amateurly), and I know how to edit videos and photos (also amateurly).
Q. Do you have any hobbies?
A. My hobbies are hiking, painting, listening to music, editing, watching UFC, exploring new places, collecting keychains, shopping (it’s therapeutic, ok?), body modification and learning about cars.
Q. Do you have any pets?
A. I have 1 dog. He is a Pomeranian-mix Chihuahua, a Pomchi. His name is Bruno, he is 2 years old, and we adopted him about 9 months ago. If we didn’t adopt him, he was going to be put down.
Q. Favorite Movies?
A. My favorite movies are Old Boy, A Company Man, My Way, Castaway to the Moon, Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons, The Man from Nowhere, Kung Fu Hustle, Dumplings, Police Story 1 and 2, Drunken Master 1 and 2, Meals on Wheels, Enter the Dragon, Game of Death, Fists of Fury, Pocket Change, Cinema Paradiso, Tokyo Godfathers, A Dog’s Day Afternoon, Amélie, Housu, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Sunset Boulevard, A Grizzly Man Doc, Belladonna of Sadness, Donnie Darko, every “Studio Ghibli” film, every “Tarantino” film and every “Child’s Play/Chucky” movie.

Korean corn dogs are sooo good, both sweet and savory. Dumpling soup is perfect when you’re sick. Tteok-bokki has spicy rich goodness, and I really wanna try Kimbap one of these days.
Q. Who Inspires You?
A. My boyfriend inspires me to do my best, because he is the hardest worker I know. His work ethic is outstanding and reliable. He’s the nicest person I’ve ever met. He will go out of his way to lend an ear, give advice, go help a friend out, or lend some cash to those who are in need. We need more people like him.
Q. Which celebrity would you like to meet?
A. I would love to meet Jackie Chan, Jake Gyllenhall, Keanu Reeves, Jessica Kirson, Ms. Pat, Christina Pazsitzky, Alexander Volkav, and Q from Impractical Jokers.
