Professional Journey

1. Can you tell us about your career journey and how you came to work here?

I started my career working in a warehouse that produced plastic components for windows, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in manufacturing. I spent 10 years in retail, eventually becoming part of the management team. In that role, I helped train new managers, supported store openings, and oversaw operations at multiple locations.

After that I worked 7 years in the lighting industry, assembling and wiring products such as streetlights for hospitals, colleges and parks. That role allowed me to further develop my technical and leadership skills in light wiring manufacturing and production.

Today I find myself in a new career of assembling and wiring harnesses, and I love it. 

2. What do you enjoy most about your role?

I love reading the blueprints and assembling the harnesses.

3. What has been your proudest achievement at work so far?

Creating beautiful harnesses!

4. What challenges have you faced, and how did you overcome them? 

One challenge I faced was preparing for a difficult test. I realized I needed extra support, so I spoke with my trainer to understand exactly where I was struggling. By asking questions and focusing on those weak areas, I was able to improve my knowledge and perform much better.

5. How do you stay motivated and productive in your role?

By staying very positive, I maintain a proactive and optimistic mindset that helps me tackle challenges effectively. 

Workplace Contributions

1. How do you approach teamwork and collaboration with colleagues?

By communicating and helping everyone in any way that I can.

2. Can you share a project or task that you’re especially proud of contributing to?

I have been supporting management by organizing and accurately counting products in inventory. I also assist the shipping team on occasion.

3. How do you think your work impacts the company’s success?

I carefully review the blueprint, verify details, correct it if necessary, collaborate with the engineering team, and communicate any updates to the management team. This ensures accuracy and smooth project execution, which directly contributes to the company’s overall success and efficiency.

4. What advice would you give to others aiming for Employee of the Month?

Teamwork! Great things in business are never done by one person; they’re done by a team.

Personal Insights

1. What’s a fun fact about yourself that most of your coworkers might not know? 

I love exploring and seek new adventures.

2. Do you have a favorite quote or mantra that inspires you?

I am who I am you are who you are.

3. What’s one thing on your bucket list that you’re excited to accomplish?

I have accomplished tackling River Rafting, and my next exciting goal on my bucket list is to experience a hot air balloon ride.

Future Aspirations

1. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years professionally?

I live day by day with mindfulness and intention, focusing on making the most of each moment.  

2. How has this recognition motivated or inspired you moving forward?

Everything I do I do it from my heart. I love helping people and I will continue doing so.

3. What’s one goal you’d love to achieve at this company?

I will continue to do what I’m doing because helping others is at the core of my values. Supporting my team and those around me is my guiding principle, and I believe that by lifting others up, we all succeed together.

1. What do you enjoy most about working with your team or at this company?

Everyone has a nice personality and helps each other, I very much enjoy that.

2. How would you describe the company culture in one sentence?

Teamwork! A company is only as strong as the culture that binds its people together.

3. Who has inspired or mentored you the most during your time here, and why?

Gio (Giovanni) has been the greatest source of inspiration and support throughout my time here. His guidance and encouragement have helped me grow personally and professionally, and I am truly grateful for the positive impact he’s had on my journey.
