With its roots in Brussels (Belgium), Mobile Control Systems has been manufacturing and supplying pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric throttle controls for ON/OFF HIGHWAY vehicles since 1980.
MCS quickly gained a reputation for technology leadership in construction, mining, handling, and agricultural equipment, as well as bus & coach and military vehicle manufacturing and it’s approved by almost all of the most popular industrial engine manufacturers, electric motors and hybrid drive vehicles.
Beginning in early 2000, the company focused on Hall effect programmable throttle controls that could be applied to diesel and CNG engines of any type.
Also included in the M.C.S. standard product range are Hall effect sensors for multiple applications requiring position reading or feedback.
Every –hand or electronic– throttle pedal conforms with the durability and security required in the professional field.
Why MCS?:

• Flexibility to adjust settings and parameters according to standards or customer-specific applications.
• CAN control continuous self-test with possibility to activate a report transmission
such as diagnostic message or error register.
• Customizing of wire type and length as well as connectors
• Several protocols available such as: ISO11898, J1939, CANopen, ISO11783
All electronic throttle controls are fitted with programmable hall effect sensors. The signals generated by the electronic throttle controls will allow a smooth and precise engine speed control.
The output values are programmable and hence can be adapted to the customer’s specifications. Electronic throttle controls can be connected directly to the engine management system, or engine electronic control module.

Hand & Rotary Throttles
A hand throttle is complementary to an accelerator pedal. It has the same purpose: manage the power of an engine. The difference is that a hand throttle is operated by hand.
