In a previous article we discussed the advantages of combining the TEC-10 controller from Enovation Controls, a 4-position keypad from Blink Marine, and a custom adapter harness built in our facility, and how we were able to give one of our rental pump manufacturers a competitive advantage over others that are just offering standard products. Using customer feedback, our engineers can improve off-the-shelf solutions offered by our vendors.
MurCal's AgZone™ Keypad is used to simplify and enhance the capabilities of specific engine control panels. Select a pre-programmed, time-saving action by pushing a button on the keypad. We call this keypad our "easy button" for engine control.
Using the AgZone™4, you can control watering for four zones on your irrigation system. It is suitable for different crops and their specific irrigation requirements. These include items like unique discharge pressure targets, distinct run times, and distinct warnings and shutdown parameters.
Along with the TEC-10, we manufacture three (3) other AgZone™4 Controller Packages, including the ML1000 and ML2000-R2 models (with a simple firmware update by MurCal) that combine an AgZone™4 Engine Control Panel, an AgZone™4 Four Button Keypad, and an AgZone™4 Power/CAN Adapter Harness, to deliver a turnkey solution for operating MurCal’s proprietary AgZone™4 engine control system.

Included with all 3 of the following packages are the following:
The AgZone™4 Four Button Keypad is an accessory to be used with specific controllers. It comes with a special configuration that is installed in the controller which allows you to easily select between four (4) different irrigation mode presets. The keypad will only work when combined with an engine controller and adapter harness from one of our AgZone™4 Controller Packages.
The AgZone™4 Power/CAN Adapter Harness is 84” (7 foot / 2.13 meter) in length, and includes Deutsch Pin Plugs, Receptacles, and Wedgelocks, combined with Omni Cable and 18GA wire encased in High Temperature Split Loom. The Power/CAN Adapter Harness is necessary to connect MurCal's AgZone™4 Four Button Keypad (6518014) to your Murphy PowerCore® engine control panel to power the AgZone keypad buttons and provide communication between the controller and the keypad buttons.

AgZone™4 ML1000-4X Controller Package
The AgZone™4 ML1000-4X Controller Package combines three components to bring you a turnkey solution for operating MurCal’s proprietary AgZone™4 engine control system.
The ML1000-4X Controller Package includes:
• One (1) AgZone™4 ML1000-4X Engine Control Panel (4018034), encased in a NEMA 4X enclosure, configured with the AgZone™ software program
• One (1) AgZone™4 Four Button Keypad (6518014)
• One (1) AgZone™4 Power/CAN Adapter Harness (6519015)
Murphy’s ML1000-4X Panel, engineered and built by Enovation Controls Industrial Panel Division, is a superior panel offering which includes the powerful, yet simple-to-configure PowerCore® MPC-10 Controller. The MPC-10 is a general, all-purpose manual/auto start and manual/auto throttling engine controller designed with rental applications in mind. The controller is purposed primarily for applications where a wide array of inputs and outputs are not required. The MPC-10 supports J1939 CAN protocols for electronically governed engines as well as analog sensors on mechanical engines for fault and safety shutdowns.

The ML2000-R2-Metal Controller Package includes:
• One (1) AgZone™4 ML2000-R2-Metal Engine Control Panel (4018038) configured with the AgZone™ software program
• One (1) AgZone™4 Four Button Keypad (6518014)
• One (1) AgZone™4 Power/CAN Adapter Harness (6519015)
Murphy’s ML2000-R2-Metal Panel, engineered and built by Enovation Controls Industrial Panel Division, is a superior panel offering which includes the powerful, yet simple-to-configure PowerCore® MPC-20-R2 Controller encased in a black, powder-coated cold rolled steel enclosure.
This controller offers manual or automatic control whether it's starting/stopping, throttling, or both. The flexibility of the MPC-20-R2 controller allows for the same control panel to be used across many applications, providing the operator familiarity with the controller and control panel in any application.
The ML2000-R2-Metal utilizes industry standard Deutsch connectors and is compatible for use on the simplest mechanical engine to the most advanced, fully electronic Tier 4 engines supporting J1939 CAN communications.
